Safe and Secure

Something I wanted to share with those that might read my blogs. I read alot of spiritual material. It's the best way that I know to draw myself closer to God. Billy Graham has a little book called , "Hope for the Day." I may have shared some others with you before, but I felt like todays was worth writing.

Reading comes out of Hebrews 5:9 He became the author of eternal salvation to all who obey Him.

With the exception of Jesus, no one in the Bible probably endured more scorn than Noah. Told to build an ark to escape God's judgment, we read that "Noah did; according to all that God commanded him" (Gen 6:22).

Can you imagine what his neighbors said? Can you picture them shaking their heads and laughing, calling him a fool and murmuring he must be out of his mind? Can you envision them angrily rejecting his warnings of coming judgment and returning to their idolatrous ways (for 2 Pet. 2:5 calls Noah "a preacher of righteousness')?

But when the flood came, only Noah and his family were saved. For those who scorned his pleas, it was too late.

You and I are called to proclaim a message that often seems foolishness to an unbelieving world--the message of the Cross. Will everyone accept it? No.Will some mock us? Yes. But never stop sharing the Gospel, for it is still "the power of God for the salvation of everyone who believes" (Rom. 1:16).

At this very moment our world is in a mess. The people of today are spoiled. They have let satan run their lives for to long. I honestly believe that God is trying to tell us something. He means for us to know that we have got to change our wicked ways. All the material things that people think they have to have is a joke. You cannot take it with you when you go. The Lord has prepared a beautiful kingdom for each and everyone of us. If we drink in his words and obey what he ask of us we can have the fountain of life. Stop, Think, do you really want to continue living a satan filled life? Or would you rather have peace, love and harmony in your world. When the time comes do you know if your ready for that? I cannot wait to rejoice. The best feeling in the world is to know that my family will be with me. We are all on the same page. As the women of the house I probably have the strongest faith out of all of us. But never, never will I let them give up or allow satan into my home. I ask you to please evaluate your lives and homes. Begin today. Ask the Lord into your life. Pray for world peace.
