It has been some time since I last wrote anything on this blog site. I have been so envolved in other things, the time to just sit down a write has not been there for me. Alone time and my own personal computer is something I do not have.
My family an I moved to where we are from Asheboro, NC about 3 years now. With the economy the way it is and gas at all time breaking records, it made it very difficult for us to get to our Church Family in Asheboro, NC. C4, Central Carolina Community Church. My family went through a major crisis this time last year. My Husband an I nearly lost our son to a drug overdose. By the grace of God our sons life was spared. This church family prayed for us continously and they always were by our sides, until the day we walked back into that church with our son by our sides. The Pastor stopped what he was saying when he saw us, and said, " there is a miracle standing right there." My Son! This Pastor and the others of the church had stood over my son when he was at his most critical. I can never Thank this church enough for their love and kindness. We have had to find another church family closer to us. They are wonderful. We are in a small group, an are getting to know this family in the same way as we did the other. However, there is not another that will take the place of C4.
I am just thankful toGod for leading us to Daystar. Not attending church on a regular basis was not good for us. I could feel us drifting back to our bad roots. That is a place I never want to go to again. May the Lord keep us in his grip and draw us close to him.
I am happy to say that exactly one year later, my son is doing very well. He will always have some short term memory problems, but he will be able to live somewhat of a normal life on his own with guidance and the help of our God. God spared him for a reason. One day he will know.
